My research takes advantage of natural populations and genomic methods to understand the evolutionary processes shaping marine diversity. I am especially interested in the genetics of adaptation, range-expansions and speciation in non-model marine invertebrates, with a strong focus on invasive species and taxa with high dispersal potential. Under the RRAP research program, I am combining whole-genome sequencing with evolutionary theory, comparative and population genomic methods to investigate cryptic species diversity, hybridisation and adaptation in Acropora corals.
