Mark’s role is to oversee the RRAP fieldwork program schedule and status, facilitating operational efficiencies and supporting project partners to plan and deliver safe, compliant fieldwork. Mark has been at the Australian Institute of Marine Science since 2016, now based in Townsville after relocating from Western Australia in his previous role as Health Safety and Environment and Field Operations Officer. He has 15 years’ marine research and field operations management experience across state and federal government agencies, university, oil and gas, mining, and private sectors. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the University of Wales, Swansea.
