Professor Morgan Pratchett is a conservation ecologist based at James Cook University, Townsville, where he teaches Coral Reef Ecology and advises number of graduate students. His research is largely focussed on understanding and managing foremost threats to coral reef ecosystems. Morgan is committed to ensuring that not only is this research published in peer-reviewed journals, but also effectively applied to improve the outlook for coral reefs globally.

Reef Restoration and Adaptation Program
The Reef Restoration and Adaptation Program respects and recognises all Traditional Owners of the Great Barrier Reef as First Nations Peoples holding the hopes, dreams, traditions and cultures of the Reef.
