Rose Foster

Senior Research Technician

Rose Foster is a Senior Research Technician at the Centre for Policy Futures at the University of Queensland and a PhD candidate at UQ’s TC Beirne School of Law investigating the capacity of legal frameworks to facilitate marine restoration. She completed a dual Bachelors of Arts / Laws (Hons) in 2020, having worked as a research assistant in environmental law while studying. Her main research interests lie in the intersection of law and science, particularly in evaluating the extent to which laws respond and adapt to the challenges posed by climate change, and identifying options for reform to better respond to environmental needs.
