Jen Dryden is the Risk Review Project Manager for the Reef Restoration and Adaptation Program (RRAP) and is based at the Australian Institute of Marine Science. In this role, Jen is assisting with oversight of processes to identify and manage risk associated with the future deployment of RRAP coral reef interventions.

Prior to her current role Jen worked in a variety of reef project management and coordination positions at the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, across areas including environmental assessment and management, Indigenous partnerships, climate change mitigation and adaptation, ecosystem resilience and species conservation, restoration and adaptation interventions, crown-of-thorns starfish control, reef health, field management strategy and strategic policy.

An experienced SCUBA diver, Jen has participated in numerous field trips on the Great Barrier Reef to conduct reef health surveys, natural resource management activities and crown-of-thorns starfish surveillance.

Jen completed her undergraduate degree in Marine Science and Conservation Biology at Murdoch University, followed by an honour’s year in Environmental Science at James Cook University.
