QUT

Andrew Fletcher is a spatial scientist with expertise in remote sensing and geospatial information science. His research covers change over time in spatial pattern and structure for natural and anthropogenic features under natural climate variability. Andrew works across scales from field plot to state and global data sets. Of particular importance are predicted outcomes of changes in global energy budgets and changes in intensity and interval of disturbance. As a geospatial science researcher, the tools and measurements are drawn from appropriate technology and equipment to match spatial and temporal scale of the processes involved. This ranges from small drones to global satellite mission data sets.
