Matthew Dunbabin

Professor Matthew Dunbabin, of the Science and Engineering Faculty of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), has more than 20 years’ robotics and automation experience across a range of sectors including transport, mining, construction, agriculture, defence and the environment (marine, terrestrial and aerial).  He is a Chief Investigator in the ARC Centre of Excellence in Robotic Vision and the Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing Hub (ArmHub). He provides automation advice to industry, is on the Raine Island Science Advisory Group and is lead of Environmental Component Robotics Roadmap for Australia. Matthew has a unique and extensive cross-sectorial robotics background combined with collaborative links to many key Australian and international robotics and autonomous groups.
