Executive Director, Reef Restoration and Adaptation Program, Great Barrier Reef Foundation

Dr. Cedric Robillot is the Executive Director of the Reef Restoration and Adaptation Program. Prior to this, Cedric was Director for the Reef Trust Partnership and eReefs, providing strategic advice and program management services in a range of sectors.

Cedric is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Queensland School of Biological Sciences, holds a PhD in environmental toxicology from the National Museum of Natural History in Paris and an engineering degree from the Paris School of Physics and Chemistry (ESPCI). He has 20 years’ experience in both the private and public sectors, delivering and managing large infrastructure and R&D programs.

His previous roles include: Executive Manager, Seqwater, in charge of the Western Corridor Recycled Water Scheme and Gold Coast Desalination Plant; 10 years in biomedical device development, co-founding biotechnology company Cleveland Biosensors; and managing international multidisciplinary projects in Europe, the UK and US.
